Privacy Policy

Who we are
Qlickspace is operated by Athanatos LLC, United States. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the Qlickspace app, our website, or contact us. Contact
qlickspace@qlickspace.com
with privacy questions or requests.
Information you provide
We process your account email and authentication information to create and secure your account. Your profile may include a username, name, profile photo, biography, location you enter, professional roles, availability, and other optional professional details. Optional height and body measurements have a separate visibility choice.
We process the content and activity you choose to create: posts, stories, comments, likes, saved posts, follows, tags, messages, voice recordings, shared links, project briefs, applications, team membership, tasks, files, samples, annotations, reviews, and compensation proposals. We also receive information you submit through support, safety reports, appeals, and deletion requests. Our website’s beta waitlist asks for your email address and optional creative role and device type. We use these details to organize testing and contact you about beta access. You can ask to leave the waitlist at our contact email.
Technical information
Our hosting and service providers process technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP addresses, request and authentication logs, timestamps, and browser or device information. The app stores preferences, cached media, and local drafts on your device, and uses the device’s secure Keychain for saved sign-ins.
Why we use information
We use information to provide accounts and profiles; help members find collaborators; deliver posts, messages, and project tools; save your settings and work; send account and service emails; troubleshoot problems; protect accounts; investigate reports and appeals; and process privacy and deletion requests.
Who can see your work
New profiles are discoverable by default unless you turn visibility off. Discover visibility allows signed-in members to find your public profile and published work. Your selected profile details and photo may also appear beside content you contribute. Height and measurements are not made public unless you enable their separate sharing option.
Shared Studio files and work are available to authorized project members. Direct messages are available to the participants. Applying to an opportunity does not grant access to its private workspace. Local story drafts stay on the device; other draft information may be saved privately to your account. Saved-post lists are private; some interactions, such as saving a post, can have a separate visible “Saved by” list where the app provides it.
Reports are not public posts. Authorized moderators may access reported content and relevant context to review a safety concern or appeal. Private does not mean end-to-end encrypted.
Changing visibility or removing content limits access through the service, but cannot remove copies or screenshots another person already made. Other members are responsible for the information they share outside Qlickspace.
Service providers
We use Supabase for authentication, database services, and media storage; Google Workspace for configured account and support email; Squarespace to host our public landing website; and Vercel to host our web app and guardian approval pages. These providers process information to operate their services. Squarespace processes website visitor information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, pages visited, and referring pages to host, protect, and analyze the website. Cookies and similar technologies support site operation and analytics. You can manage cookies using available site controls and your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the site works. Squarespace also processes certain visitor information for its own purposes as described in its privacy policy at https://www.squarespace.com/privacy.
Stripe is connected for development testing. Screens labelled test mode are not real payments. If live payments are introduced, we will update the relevant disclosures before activating them. Do not enter real card details into a test checkout.
We do not currently send member content to an AI provider for moderation.
Device permissions
Camera, microphone, and photo-library permissions let you create or choose content to share. You can manage these permissions in your device settings. Declining a permission may prevent that feature from working without preventing unrelated features from working.
Retention and deletion
We keep account information and content while needed to provide your account and the features you use, subject to your deletion choices. A story ceasing to be visible after 24 hours is not a promise that every stored copy is erased at that moment. Moderated content and decision records may be retained for review and appeals.
We retain beta waitlist details until you ask to leave, or for up to 12 months after our last beta contact. We retain ordinary support conversations for up to 12 months after closure, and safety reports and appeals for up to 24 months after closure. A documented legal need may require longer retention of a limited record. Account-deletion processing can remove associated app records sooner.
You can request account deletion in the app’s Settings. We remove your account, profile, personal portfolio posts and stories, and private messages. Transferred Studio projects retain their files, project messages, tasks and review work for authorized project members. Your contributions in those projects are labeled Deleted member and are no longer linked to your account. Content itself may still identify you if it includes your name, image or other identifying details; contact us about removal of personal information in retained project content. Project structure and other members’ work can remain. Project owners may need to choose an accepted member to take ownership first. Deletion can begin soon after confirmation; it is not a 30-day cancellation period. Confirmed requests are to be completed within 30 days, with a completion email. We retain your email while completing the request and sending that email, then remove the deletion-processing record.
Deleting the app does not delete the account. Device copies, recipients’ independent copies, support correspondence, service logs, and backups are distinct from the active account. Backup and infrastructure log copies may remain temporarily under the relevant provider’s retention and rotation schedules; deleting an active account does not instantly erase those copies. Contact us if you need details about retention for a particular request.
Payment records and account deletion
For project payments, we retain transaction records and the supporting information needed to account for funding, fees, contributor allocations, milestone approvals, transfers, refunds and disputes. Necessary supporting information may include agreed quotes and relevant delivery or dispute evidence. Payment records are restricted to authorized personnel and are not public profile information.
Retention depends on whether a payment has been fully settled, whether a refund, dispute or accounting issue remains unresolved, and applicable tax, accounting and legal obligations. A documented investigation or legal requirement may extend retention of relevant records. We do not retain every project file or unrelated conversation solely because a project involved a payment.
Account deletion does not automatically erase financial records that must be retained. Accounts with payment records currently require review before deletion or project ownership transfer can proceed. Contact qlickspace@qlickspace.com for information about the records retained for your account and the reason for retention. Live payments remain disabled, and automatic deletion of financial records has not been enabled. We will publish the adopted retention schedule before introducing live payments.
Your choices and requests
You can edit profile details, change Discover visibility and sharing preferences, manage device permissions, block accounts, and use the available content deletion controls. Email
qlickspace@qlickspace.com
for access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests. We may verify ownership before disclosing or changing information. Applicable privacy rights depend on where you live.
Children and minimum age
Qlickspace is available to people aged 13 and older. Applicants aged 13–17 must receive approval from a parent or legal guardian before creating an account. People under 13 may not register. We use the date of birth entered during eligibility checking to determine an age band; we do not save that date of birth to the account. The signup service processes the date transiently for this check.
Guardian approval requests
For applicants aged 13–17, we process the applicant’s email address and the parent or guardian’s email address to request and record a decision. Guardian emails explain that Qlickspace includes profiles, posts, messaging and projects with other members, including adults. Opening an email link does not approve registration. The guardian must explicitly approve or decline after reviewing the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy. Email approval confirms access to that mailbox and the person’s statement of guardianship; it does not independently verify their identity or relationship.
Pending requests expire after seven days. Daily cleanup removes expired requests and their contact information; declined requests are removed by that cleanup as well. Used request records are removed after their seven-day request period. A minimal consent record — account identifier, age band, policy versions, acceptance time and guardian approval time where applicable — remains while the account exists and is removed when the account is deleted. The app saves a pending applicant request token and email in the device’s secure Keychain so registration can be resumed; it expires locally after seven days or is cleared after successful registration.
Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect registration against automated abuse. Its verification processes browser/device and connection signals according to Cloudflare’s privacy disclosures. Supabase processes approval requests and account records; our email provider delivers guardian-request emails. Short-lived keyed identifiers are used to limit repeated requests and are cleaned up after the rate-limit period.
Parents or guardians can contact qlickspace@qlickspace.com to withdraw approval or request an account review. Approval does not provide access to passwords or private messages. We may restrict the account while reviewing eligibility or a withdrawal request.
The separate beta waitlist remains restricted to people aged 18 and older.
International processing and security
Qlickspace is operated from the United States, and providers may process information in other countries. We use authentication and access controls to protect information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Updates
We will date the published policy and update it when our practices change. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate through the service or account contact details.
